1926: A 68-foot pole tower with a 6 x 6 cab was erected.
July 30, 1937: "Robert H. Harper, local forester, spent part of last week at Trinity Tower and Fish lake. LaVerne Leep is stationed at Trinity Tower this year." (Eastern Oregon News)
August 13, 1942: "Tommy Leep was kicked by a horse Monday while on duty at Trinity Lookout. Mr. Harper brought him in. His leg is badly bruised and he will not be able to return to his lookout for several days." (The Record-Courier)
August 20, 1942: "Tommy Leep is still away from Trinity lookout due to a leg injury suffered when he was kicked by a horse. He is still on crutches. Carl Rhoda is looking after the lookout as well as the Fish lake station." (The Record-Courier)
July 11, 1946: "'Budd' O'Toole will have the Trinity lookout." (The Record-Courier)
September 5, 1946: "When returning to the Trinity lookout station on August 25 'Bud' O'Toole, member of the forest service, had the misfortune of turning his car over and was pinned beneath. A passenger plane which was flying over the valley sighted the wreck and sent aid. This road is very narrow, steep and quite dangerous and an accident is not unusual. Mr. O'Toole was not seriously injured but Tommy Leep took charge of the station for a while." (The Record-Courier)
September 14, 1947: "Mr. and Mrs. Royal Cousens, Mr. and Mrs. Carder and Mr. and Mrs. Hansford Tarter were recent guests with the Gentry family at Trinity lookout." (The Record Courier)
