1958: The lookout house moved on a Low-Boy trailer from Round Pass to its new location on Morgan Butte.
1958: The lookout duties were transferred from Round Pass in order to construct the FAA OMNI range station.
1958: Air marking numbers were completed, this station marked F-12 the same number that was assigned to Round Pass.
1964: A new lookout house constructed, featuring a flat roof R-6.
It was noted that extra work was required because the pre-fab factory had drilled the holes necessary to bolt the building to the foundation blocks in the wrong locations.
September 4, 1964: In a report to the Regional Office.
"Final erection cost – FY 64 _ $1743.98
Material cost – prefab house – FY 63 - $3788.21
Final completion date 7-30-63
Final construction report has been made."
February 20, 1968: In a memorandum to the Forest Supervisor.
Morgan Butte roof was patched in 1965 and will need work done on the roof again this spring. Maintenance is easier but more often than other types of regular cabs with shingles.
1981: Missing air terminal, bent air terminals, three grounding cables not on soil and ends next to brush. Refrigerator, wood stove need grounding, loose connections. These are the findings of a lightning protection inspection.
