May 1940: "Station serves higher country which is considered to be more favorable than Mt. Emily." (Plans, Guard Placement, Siskiyou National Forest)
1941: The lookout station staffed 94 days, reported to the Gold Beach station by way of West Coast Telephone Company line, also had radio communications.
