September 14, 1933: "A 10x10 lookout is to be constructed before the snow flies." (Roseburg Chieftain)
1934: An L-5 lookout cabin constructed atop a 30-foot round timber tower by the CCC.
1935: A four strand barbed wire fence enclosing 20 acres was built at a cost of $30.29. (Umpqua National Forest files)
September 23, 1940: "Louis Gable, who has been stationed at Anderson Camp during the summer months, has left for his home in the east and will soon enter Pennsylvania State college for his senior year." (The News-Review)
1950's: The lookout abandoned about mid-decade.
